Post Cruise Option #3 - 6 Days
Begin or end your Alaska cruise with "must-see" attractions in the interior of Alaska. Kenai Fjords National Park, Denali National Park, the McKinley Explorer railcar experience, Anchorage and the Alaska SeaLife Center are combined so conveniently and efficiently, you'll have plenty of free time for optional activities.

Day 1: Seward
After arriving in Seward, you'll be transferred to your day-boat for your unforgettable Kenai Fjords National Park cruise. This is a place you have to see to believe with towering cliffs, thundering waterfalls and wildlife galore. And you'll have an overnight in Seward to explore the town and take in the views of gorgeous Resurrection Bay.

Day 2: Seward – Anchorage
Before departing Seward, you'll have time on your own for further exploration including an optional tour of the Alaska SeaLife Center, the northern hemisphere's only coldwater research facility and the home of Stellar sea lions, harbor seals, and a variety of seabirds.

Then depart Seward by motor coach and sightsee along the Seward Highway, a National Forest Scenic Byway that has been voted one of the Top Ten Most Scenic Drives in America by Condé Nast Traveler magazine. The journey takes you through the lovely Kenai Peninsula passing Turnagain Arm on the way to Anchorage.

Day 3: Anchorage – Denali
Travel this morning by comfortable motor coach along the historic George Parks Highway watching for views of Mt. McKinley along the way. Upon arrival at Denali National Park, get settled in then take note of our wide array optional Denali excursions and Park-sponsored activities.

Day 4: Denali
This morning, get a deeper understanding of one of North America's most remarkable national parks on the famous Tundra Wilderness Tour of the taiga forest and expansive rolling tundra. You'll marvel at Denali's awesome beauty, and hear colorful stories about the area's cultural and geological history.

Much of the day will be free for you to participate in a Ranger-led hike or opt for a thrilling flightseeing, river rafting or horseback-riding excursion. The optional Cabin Nite Dinner Theatre is a fun filled way to end the day, if you choose to purchase it.

Day 5: Denali – Anchorage
After a morning at leisure, journey between the mountains of the spectacular Alaska and Talkeetna ranges on an incomparable sightseeing experience aboard the McKinley Explorer railcars. Luxurious glass-domed observation cars carry you along the rails of the historic Alaska Railroad. Take in the wide-open scenery as you travel across Hurricane Gulch, along scenic rivers like the Susitna, which means "Mother River", past colorful towns like Wasilla, billed as the "Home of the Iditarod" and through the Matanuska Valley, a farming region known for mammoth vegetables. From the depot, you'll be transferred to your accommodations for an overnight stay in Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city.

Day 6: Anchorage
We'll transport you to the airport and say goodbye until next time.
