Day 1: Anchorage
We'll transfer you to your downtown hotel, and then the rest of the day is
free for exploring Alaska's largest city.
Day 2: Anchorage - Denali
This morning transfer to the rail station, and board the glass-domed
railcars of the McKinley Explorer for your journey to Denali. After arriving and
transferring to your hotel, you'll have time to explore this beautiful area, and
perhaps choose from our many optional tours, such as flightseeing or horseback
riding.
Day 3: Denali
This morning, get a deeper understanding of one of North America's
most remarkable national parks on the famous Tundra Wilderness Tour of the taiga
forest and expansive rolling tundra. You'll marvel at Denali's awesome beauty,
and hear colorful stories about the area's cultural and geological history.
This afternoon you're on your own; perhaps you'll choose one of the
park-sponsored activities.
Day 4: Denali - Anchorage
Enjoy your last morning in Denali, then board your deluxe motor coach for
your scenic drive back to Anchorage.
Day 5: Anchorage - Seward
Enjoy a tour of Alaska's largest city this morning, including a stop at the
Alaska Native Heritage Center. Later, travel down the scenic Seward Highway to
the port town of Seward. The evening is free for you to explore at your leisure.
Day 6: Seward
This morning, board your day-boat for a spectacular cruise of Kenai Fjords
National Park. At the conclusion of your tour, you'll transfer to your cruise
ship, for the next part of your Alaska adventure.
