After seeing the grandeur of Lake Louise and Vermillion Lakes we recommend Johnston Canyon. Stroll the self-guided trail which leads you along meandering Johnston Creek to two impressive waterfalls (especially in the late spring). Hike the 5.5 kilometer (3.5 mile) to the Ink Pots, where you can marvel at the six cool springs that bubble out of the ground year round. |
