This is most people's favorite car, at least for a few hours where you can enjoy the spectacular scenery from a higher vantage point. This car is only available to those who are staying in bedrooms or berths (semi-private). There is also a dome car in the last car of the train called the Park Car which features a comfortable lounge. There is approximately 1 dome car for each 3-4 bedroom cars but this can change with the seasons.  

One of the most frequent questions we hear is "will there be room in the dome car or will the seats always be taken?".  The answer is there are several dome cars on the train and many of the passengers will be in the dining car, having a drink in the park car or relaxing in their own compartments.  There are also very handy areas with card tables, snacks and sitting areas near the dome cars as well.
