Day 1  Arrive in beautiful Vancouver, voted number one travel destination in North America by the American Business Association.  Meet your tour director this evening

Day 2  Our incredible adventure begins with a deluxe motor coach tour!  We depart by deluxe motor coach along the Fraser River east, crossing the Coquihalla Pass into the verdant Okanagan Valley.  We'll stop at a local winery for a taste of the local vintages before arriving in Kelowna on the shores of Lake Okanagan.  Overnight Kelowna.

Day 3  We travel through Canada's National Parks - Mount Revelstoke, Glacier and Yoho.  Then we cross Rogers Pass and climb Kicking Horse Pass en route to Alberta and Banff National Park.  We arrive at one of the jewels of the Rockies, Lake Louise where we overnight at the fabulous Chateau Lake Louise.

Day 4  We enjoy a morning walk along the shores of LAKE LOUISE,.  Later we take the Gondola at Lake Louise Ski Resort for scenic views (Seasonal).  From here we drive along the Bow River Valley to Banff.  Unpack in your room at the astounding Banff Springs hotel for 2 nights.

Day 5  A terrific day awaits us.  Our morning drive will show us the mythical sandstone Hoodoos of the Bow Valley.  Later you can choose to take a gondola ride to the summit of SULFUR MOUNTAIN for 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains and lakes or perhaps dip in the curative waters of the Sulfur Mountain Hotsprings near the "Cave and Basin".

Day 6  After a hearty breakfast we tour we travel along one of the most beautiful drives in the World, the "Icefields Parkway".  The highlight of the day for many is the Ice Explorer (Sno-coach) ride onto ATHABASCA GLACIER.   Stand on the toe of the glacier which is 1,000 feet thick.  An afternoon arrival in lovely jasper will find us unpacking at the Jasper Park Lodge where Marilyn Monroe and King George the V have stayed.  2 Nights at the "JPL".

Day 7  This morning we shadow the Maligne Canyon past the disappearing lake (Medicine Lake) to stunning Maligne Lake.  Boat tours are available to Spirit Island and spot made famous by the photograph of a famous New Yorker.  Free time in the afternoon to shop for rare Ammelite, a precious gem found only in the mountains of Alberta.

Day 8   All aboard the Rocky Mountaineer in Jasper.  Seats are pre-assigned in the Gold Leaf Car, dining car and we enjoy full access to the dome car seating.  This is one of the world's great train journeys.  We take the Yellowhead route past emerald green lakes and cross over the continental divide.  Arrive at arid Kamloops where we stop for the night in one of Rocky Mountaineer's hotels. 

Day 9   All aboard as we travel through "Canyon Country" and along the Thompson River Valley past Hells Gate.  Arrive Vancouver early evening and check into one of our centrally located hotels.  Step out and check out the fabulous nigh life of Robson Street.

Day 10   After another delicious breakfast we have a exploratory tour of VANCOUVER, including the Totems at Stanley Park, Gastown to see the steam clock and Chinatown.  Board the ferry that will carry us across the Strait of Georgia to Vancouver Island.  Stop at Butchart Gardens to witness the explosion of flowers and stroll the stately gardens.  Arrive in Victoria to enjoy a tour of this most British of cities.  Unpack a the hotel for 2 nights and enjoy the included dinner.

Day 11   You can choose from the following optional tours, whale watching (seasonal), High Tea at the Empress Hotel or a visit to the Royal B.C. Musuem.  The balance of the day is free for shopping and exploring.

Day 12   We return by ferry to the mainland and stop at the Vancouver International Airport (approximately 2:00PM) and continue to the Coast Plaza Hotel for passengers wishing to extend their stay with an option 7 night Alaska Cruise!  Call for cruise details.
