A delightful trip of the highlights of the Canadian Rockies! Banff - Calgary - Banff - Lake Louise - Icefields Parkway - Jasper - Vancouver

This tour can also start from Vancouver and end in Calgary!! DAY 1 and 2 Banff Leave Calgary's downtown and tour through the foothills into the Rocky Mountains. In BANFF tour the town with your knowledgeable driver/guide. You will also have an opportunity to ride to the summit of Sulphur Mountain (included). Overnight in Banff. Day two is yours to explore the mountain community of Banff. DAY 3 Lake Louise Depart Banff this morning and head to Moraine Lake and the Valley of the Ten Peaks (seasonal*). Continue to LAKE LOUISE, the 'Jewel of the Rockies'. After a lunch break in Lake Louise (lunch not included) continue on the Yoho Valley and Emerald Lake. Return in the late afternoon back to Lake Louise. DAY 4 Jasper Today, journey northward to Jasper with a stop at the ATHABASCA GLACIER. An interpretive tour onto the glacier with a Brewster Ice Explorer (seaonal*) is included. In addition to the Glacier, sights on route include PEYTO LAKE, Crowfoot Glacier, ATHABASCA FALLS and Canadian Rockies  wildlife.  Arrive in Jasper late afternoon. DAY 5 Jasper Your introduction to JASPER will encompass some outstanding scenery including Medicine Lake and Maligne Canyon. Continue on your way to MALIGNE LAKE, there you will board a tour boat and set off on a 90 minute cruise (seasonal*). Return to Jasper where the rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. DAY 6 VIA Rail's 'Canadian' to Vancouver Your day is at leisure until your transfer to the Jasper train station (included), where you will board the VIA Rail train bound for Vancouver (dinner included).  VIA RAIL BEDROOMS  /  DINING CAR  /  DOME CAR  /  PARK-LOUNGE CAR   DAY 7 Vancouver Enjoy breakfast (included onboard) then your vacation ends upon arrival at VANCOUVER's Pacific Central Station in early morning. This vacation is available in reverse direction, departing from Vancouver. Additional nights and city stays are available in Calgary and Vancouver. *When day tours or attractions are not operational in the off-season, the price will be adjusted or there will an alternative excursion/attraction made available.
