DAY 1    Sunday Upon arrival into Halifax transfer on your own to our hotel.
Overnight in Halifax hotel.

DAY 2   This morning we include a sightseeing tour of Halifax, including Peggy’s cove, Lunenberg, Halifax Harbour area. Overnight in Halifax hotel.

DAY 3 Today your rail adventure begins as you board VIA Rails "Ocean" for the overnight trip to Quebec City . Includes private bedroom with all meals aboard.

DAY 4 Sightseeing tour of the highlights of Quebec include the Latin Quarter, the Plains of Abraham, the Ramparts, world famous Chateau Frontenac, the National Assembly, the Basilica, City Hall, Place Royale, the Citadelle. O/N Quebec City

DAY 5 Board our day-train (in coach service) for the trip to Montreal Canada, the second largest French-speaking city in the world.

DAY 6 Montreal tour includes Old Montreal, Notre Dame Basilica, Olympic Park and Mount Royal Park for a view of Montreal Harbour and the St. Lawrence River. O/N Montreal

DAY 7 Board VIA Rail day-train for the trip from Montreal to Ottawa. Overnight in Ottawa.

DAY 8 This morning, tour the nation's "Capital" highlighted by Canada's Parliament Buildings, the Embassies, the Prime Minister's residence, Rideau Falls and Canal. A free afternoon is yours to explore the National Arts Center, walk the parks, or visit Canada's Parliament (walking distance from hotel). Overnight in Ottawa.

DAY 9 Board VIA rail day-train once more for the trip to Toronto. O/N Toronto

DAY 10 We include a tour to Niagara Falls which includes "Maid of the Mist" boat ride to the base of the falls, lunch and round-trip transport. Return to Toronto hotel for overnight.

DAY 11 Thursday Board VIA Rail transcontinental westbound. "Silver and Blue" service aboard includes private bedroom, all meals aboard, porter assistance and full access to the dome cars and park car (lounge). O/N Aboard

DAY 12 O/N Aboard VIA Rail Across the Canadian Shield and over some of the hardest and oldest rock on Earth! Pass hundreds of lakes and roll on through vast forests.

DAY 13 O/N Aboard VIA Rail onto the prairies (the breadbasket of Canada) and towards the Canadian Rockies.

DAY 14 Arrive in charming Jasper, Alberta in the heart of the Rockies. Check into Sawridge hotel or similar for two nights

DAY 15 We include sightseeing tour of Jasper which includes Pyramid Lake, Maligne Canyon, Maligne Lake cruise. Return to Jasper hotel for overnight

DAY 16 Depart for Banff on our motor coach via the Icefields Parkway. This is considered one of the most beautiful drives in the World. There are over 100 glaciers on this route. Visit Athabasca Falls and ride a sno-coach onto Athabasca Glacier. While standing on this glacier you have 1000 feet of ice below your feet! Visit Peyto Lake, Lake Louise and then continue to Banff for overnight

DAY 17 Banff tour includes the Hoodoos, Bow Falls, and a gondola ride to the summit of Sulfur Mountain. O/N Banff

DAY 18 Thursday Board Rocky Mountaineer for the 2 day trip to Vancouver. Travel through the Spiral Tunnels on the way to Kamloops BC. Overnight and transfers are provided by Rocky Mountaineer.

DAY 19 Re-board Rocky Mountaineer for the journey to Vancouver BC, arriving around supper time. Overnight Vancouver Hotel

DAY 20 Morning sightseeing tour of Vancouver includes Chinatown (second largest in North America ), Gastown, Stanley Park, etc.

DAY 21 Sunday Check out of hotel and end of services
