Explore off-rail with the country's finest driver/guides, who provide fascinating insights on Canada's lands and peoples. Ride a tram up a mountain, snocoach onto a glacier, explore Banff, Lake Louise and Lac Le Jeune.
| DAY 1 Your tour begins with an evening departure from Vancouver on VIA Rail's "Silver & Blue" service, with Dome and classic dining car (dinner included). Overnight onboard VIA Rail. (Transfer to VIA Rail Station is on your own). We can arrange a pre-night in Vancouver for those arriving the day before.

DAY 2 In the early morning you will
enter the Canadian Rockies, traveling in daylight to the resort town of Jasper.
Winding through the Yellowhead Pass, view Mt. Robson, the highest peak in the
Canadian Rockies. Arrive in Jasper in mid-afternoon to begin a 2 night stay in
the crisp clean mountain air. Cuisine will never taste as good
again! Overnight in Jasper. In the afternoon continue along the beautiful Icefields Parkway into famous BANFF NATIONAL PARK. Pass by beautiful lakes like PEYTO LAKE, BOW LAKE and Lake Louise. Overnight in Banff. DAY 5 This morning, take the informative "Discover BANFF" tour with a ride up Sulphur Mountain by GONDOLA for fantastic views. In the afternoon, transfer to LAKE LOUISE for time to explore and enjoy this fabulous setting. Not far from here is equally scenic MORAINE LAKE. Overnight in Lake Louise. DAY 6 This morning, venture westward though the Canadian Rockies travelling over the Kicking Horse Pass and the Continental Divide to reach Hillcrest Resort for lunch. After your meal stop (included), continue west into the interior of British Columbia. Overnight in Lac Le Jeune.
DAY 7 Today's visits will include the gold rush site of
Cache Ranch and a lunch stop in Lillooet (meal included). Travel the
incredible Duffey lake Road over the Coast Mountians before arriving at WHISTLER
Village resort. After a brief stop in Whistler, continue onto Vancouver on the
Sea to Sky Highway. Arrive
in VANCOUVER
by late afternoon. Overnight in Vancouver. |
