| Day 4
To enhance your day in Victoria we have included a Victoria Attractions pass
that allows you to see the many sights. Don't miss the beautiful harbor
area and consider stopping in at the mighty regal Empress Hotel for "High
Tea". Overnight Victoria.
Day 5
Today you drive the scenic route
"up-island". Consider stopping in Dunca or Chemainus to see the
dozens of murals the town is famous for. Arrive in the the hilly
seaside city of Nanaimo. Nanaimo bars originated here and Nanaimo has lot
more to offer as well. Watch the ferries arrive, stroll the sea walk, and
be sure to check out the lively arts culture. The locals know a
secret. The beaches north of Nanaimo, such as Raithstrevor are some of the
most picturesque in the World. Overnight Nanaimo.
Day
6 The Island Highway takes you
inland through mountain passes and vast forests. Arrive on the west coast
of Vancouver Island and continue to Tofino with its numerous galleries and
topnotch restaurants. Walk on Long Beach (it really is long) on the
Pacific Ocean. Tofino is strategically located at the edge of Pacific Rim
National Park. Bear and many other animals are seen here and you will be
surprised by the variety of wildlife. Giant cedar trees filter the lights
and several parts of the trails are built on raised platforms to effortlessly
guide you through the dense forest. One day Park entrance is included.

Day 7 Today's
highlight is whale-watching (included). There are several species of
whales that travel through and in the waters around Vancouver island and you
have a good chance of seeing whales on this trip. The remainder of your
day is free to browse shops in Tofino or spend a second day on the beaches or
forests of Pacific Rim Park.Charter boats
are also available for salmon fishing and skin diving. Overnight
Tofino Area.
Day 8
Bid farewell to this Pacific playground and depart for Nanaimo on Highway
4. Stop at Nanaimo where you catch the BC Ferries departure to North
Vancouver, from where you transfer to one of our downtown Vancouver
hotels. Perhaps dine in one of Vancouver's two revolving restaurants with
terrifc views. There seems to be water all around Vancouver and this is
one reason it was voted number one city in North America to visit by the
American Business Association. It is truly one of the prettiest cities
anywhere.
Day 9
Check out of your hotel and renturn your rental vehicle to end your great
adventure OR we can arrange additional nights and adventures for you.
