Winter Wonderland

Day 1
Board VIA Rail's "Canadian" for your overnight
journey to Jasper. Dinner is included on board. Luggage storage in
the passenger cars is limited, so we suggest that you pack an overnight bag
for the train portion of your trip. Fall asleep to the gentle
rocking of the train.
Day 2
Enjoy breakfast aboard the train as you
watch the magnificent mountain-scapes roll by. Roll by the Monashee and
Caribou mountain ranges before ending your train journey in the resort town of
Jasper. Transfer to your hotel by our bus or Heritage Cabs.
Overnight Jasper
Day 3
Enjoy a two-hour tour of Jasper which includes the most outstanding features
of the area including Patricia Lake and Pyramid Lakes. |
Day 4
Travel in our motor coach along the Icefield's parkway, one of the most scenic
highways in the World. Arrive at Lake Louise, jewel of the Rockies.
Overnight Lake Louise.
Day 5
Your morning is free to enjoy the winter wonderland of gorgeous Lake
Louise. On today's coach tour you will travel the scenic Bow Valley
Parkway, to Banff passing Vermillion Lakes and Castle Mountain. In Banff
you will see the Bow River Rapids lookout, and the Cave and Basin National
Historic Site, birthplace of Banff National Park. The Sulphur Mountain
Gondola whisks you up several thousand feet to terrific alpine views of the
entire area. |

| Day 6
You have a free day to enjoy Canada's premiere winter resort. Try the
unique shopping in Banff, or soak and have a massage the fabulous, luxurious
Solace Spa at the Banff Spring Hotel (not included in price). Passes to
Whyte Museum are included. |
Day 7
This morning experience the unique Snocoach Dream Catcher Tour of an authentic
Indian Village including Plains Buffalo as well as insight into the Kananaskis
Valley eco-system. Following lunch at Boundary Ranch, (included) you will
be transferred to Calgary for a mid-afternoon arrival at the Calgary
International Airport or you may be dropped off downtown to continue your
stay. This day-trip will take 5 hours in total. If you overnight in
Calgary airport transfer the next day will be included.
